Love for Fitness!

It's that time of year again, Biggest Loser is coming back on tonight!!! That's one of the few shows I actually follow. There's something about following the people all the way through and seeing how much they've changed and have increased their lives! I have a feeling this season is all about "Age" from what I've seen on the pre-views. So much excitement and anticipation for tonight's Premiere :)

Love for Nutritious Food!

I came across this fabulous article about kid's snacks by Living Without. I am such a believer of healthy snacks & meals for kids. It might take a little extra time & effort vs. just grabbing a pre-packaged bag of "fruit" snacks but it will totally be worth it in the long run! Don't have kids yet, but I will work my hardest to provide them healthy & nurtitious food when that day does come.

Love for my legacy

9/11/2001 was a terrible day for our Nation.  As I reflected a lot over the weekend, I also thought about what I can start doing 10 yrs later to help change and influence the world. One day at a time, one person at a time. Two questions that I asked myself are, what is your legacy going to be & what is your mission/purpose in life? I believe it is important we do not lose those memories of how tragic that awful day was, but I also do believe we need to decide to move on and try to make the best of the situation by taking action.  We totally need to wake up and work at it everyday to make a difference in this world, as if it was our last here on earth. This is a beautiful montage and beautiful song that I thought I'd share. He does make beautiful things out of the dust....

Love for a blanced body!

I've always had a bad digestion system, so I've recently looked for more natural ways to balance & regulate by body. Kombucha is one of the things I've come across. Love for fall fashion!

Next week's forcast is getting pretty low here in Cleveland (only for this desert girl, though). I'm excited to start wearing fall fashions! Right now, I am totally in love with glitter and gold lately!

Love for new adventures!

We've moved & we now call Cleveland, OH our HOME!! And we're so excited to be here. It saddens us to think about all the people, memories, fun local spots & the church we loved in SA, but we have such peace about this move and totally know it was the move God wanted us to make! Eric got a promotion with the Cleveland Indians & we already feel SO welcome. They have made us feel like apart of the family (everyone is SO caring), so that of course reassures me that we made the right decision!

At the same time, moving can be scary at first. There's so much unfamiliarity. New highways/roads to learn, new grocery stores to get used to, new restaurants, new travels to nearby destinations, uncertainty about my career, new culture, new friendships and new weather climates ;-) but with out a doubt we're so excited for all of this- to explore & look at it as an amazing adventure! We're here for God and so excited for this part of our journey together! We're in corporate housing for the next few months, but I will be sending out our new address once we find a permanent place!
