Cardio is my favorite- there's something about running that releases any stress I've got going on:) But there are a few things to remember when it comes to cardio! Check out these cardio crimes, because you might be committing some. ;)

Love for fitness.
I have been slacking in the work out department, but I have maintained a balanced diet! So at the least that's always one of the most important things:) when I tend to slack on strength training my booty shrinks :( so here's a few moves that will get me back to where I want to be in no time! Click on the pictures below to see all 6. After a week or 2 of doing these I will switch it up to confuse those muscles!

Love for Halloween!
Boo! I'm back...I took a mini-hiatus from the blog as we took a quick trip to San Diego, dining and hanging with sweet friends, and praising Jesus with Phil Wickham at our new church this past weekend. And not to mention moving, unpacking and organizing (almost finished) in the mix of all that! But I'm enjoying every minute. Unfortunately we didn't dress up this year for any parties or events, but we plan make something very festive tonight and snuggle up on the couch to watch something scary (maybe have a little candied pecans as our sweet treat :) ) Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and enjoy Halloween night!
I wanted to leave you with a little useful info for you before you go snackin on your kids left-over candy or your candy left-over for passing out to kids in your neighborhood.
I was reading my Oxygen magazine during one of our flights and thought it was a great way to view what you eat :) Here are a few popular candies, their calories and minutes walking it would take to burn them off!
Smarties (1 roll); 25; 7 min
Hershey's miniature (1 bar); 42; 11 min
Blow Pop; 60; 15 min
Snickers (fun size); 72; 18 min
Milk chocolate M&M's (fun size); 90; 23 min
Brack's Candy Corn (22 pieces); 165; 41 min
Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (2 cups); 210; 53 min.
*based on a 130-pound woman walking 3.0 mph
Doesn't mean you shouldn't eat the candy, just know how much your eating :)

Love for skin tightening!
Okay, so ever since I started taking birth control I started getting cellulite? Read up on it, and1 reason cellulite occurs is do to hormonal changes. Never wanted to have to face this problem, but I am! So I thought I'd share some solutions for those of you dealing with the same issue!
1. Keep skin hydrated with 6-8 glasses of water per day.
2. Primrose Oil and Borage seed oil supplements: these increase the tightening of skin
3. Moisturize around the problem area
Cellulite occurs do to a few factors. One of those being dry and damaged skin therefore needing extra moisture.
4. Excercise and strength training. Building muscle around the problem areas will help prevent the formation of the cellulite.
I have found the build-up of muscle has helped tremendously for me! *Double check with your doctor to be sure you're not allergic to the primrose or borage before taking!

Love for Fitness!
It's that time of year again, Biggest Loser is coming back on tonight!!! That's one of the few shows I actually follow. There's something about following the people all the way through and seeing how much they've changed and have increased their lives! I have a feeling this season is all about "Age" from what I've seen on the pre-views. So much excitement and anticipation for tonight's Premiere :)Anyone else follow The Biggest Loser?

Love for fitness motivation
I just recently purchased Candace Bure's newly released book, Reshaping It All. I'm loving it so far! Really changes your mindset and perspective to fitness & food. Candace is an amazing Godly & inspiring woman. I strongly suggest picking up a copy of this book if you're looking for a good read for the pool or beach! You can find it here!
