Love for Interior Design!

I found this color combination on style at home: navy blue and orange. Can't be pulled off by just anyone, but I think this lovely cottage is pulled together perfectly :)

Love for Soda!

Yes, I did used to LOVE soda! But I have really come to grips that it's horrible for my body so I've chosen to give it up :) there's SO many other options out there. Whole Foods is a great resource for many healthier options (besides water of course!) Sorry if you're a soda lover, and this ruined your day but I had to share this picture so it might too change your soda habits ;) DON'T DO IT ANYMORE :)

Love for Energy-Boosters!

I know, like many, the afternoon slump hits me unless I'm fueling my body with energy! Here is a great article with 5 energy boosting snacks! I don't normally go with protein bars, but if I do it's a thinkThin bar! Just make sure your afternoon snack is a 100-calorie portion!

No, not the fuel company...the pattern ;-)
This pattern is showing up everywhere for the fall! Here's a fun little DIY for fans, but you could also use this for a piece of art...just use a blank canvas from Hobby Lobby!!

Love for Taco Tuesday!

Ground turkey tacos is on our menu tonight! Here's the recipe I use:

fresh corn tortillas or whole wheat (if your grocery sells them)
1 pound of ground turkey
1 can black beans
1 cup of Greek yogurt (substitute for sour cream, more protein & less fat)
3 cups of spinach
1/2 cup feta or cheddar cheese
1 jalapeno, coarsely chopped
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro leaves
1/2 avocado
1 tomato, chopped
1 lemon

Heat black beans in microwave & brown the ground turkey in a skillet on low/medium heat no oil necessary. Add your ground turkey to your tortillas followed by the black beans. And then garnish with all or some of the yummy toppings. Drizzle a little lemon juice on top to wrap it up!

Best of all you can enjoy your clean & yummy tacos!
