Ours began with a romantic dinner at Fleming's and gifts. He brought me home some kettle corn from the Rodeo that's here in town for a few weeks, and yes ladies no flowers but only my man knows how much I love kettle corn :) We decided not to do anything big as we are trying to save money right now with me not working and a few vacations/trips we're taking in the near future. The one gift he gave me was 4 spray tans. I don't do spray tans normally but since I committed to no more tanning beds anymore (this is the reason I'm so pale in this picture above ;-) ) he took me saying a fews time "gosh, I'm so white" as hints but I'm being honest when I say these comments weren't intentional hints! The sweetest thing of all was waking up to breakfast in bed this morning (Sunday) before church. What an amazing husband I have. It's great to show the love that God shows us daily to each other through kind words, caring actions and unconditional love for one another.
Anyways, back to the weekend so Saturday morning Eric unfortunately had to go into work for a few hours so I had the opportunity to get a lot accomplished around the house...I just love productive weekends! Later that evening we stayed in, had popcorn and watched Julie & Julia. Fabulous movie by the way. Needless to say, I loved the movie both for love and passion she had. Very encouraging how she never gave up on what he goal was. But one question: is this why blogs became more popular within the past few months ago?
The most exciting thing for the both of us this weekend was buying the equipment for P90X. We made a committment this past week to start this regimen. So this weekend we baught everything for it and plan to start the first workout together tomorrow. I am going to try to blog about our experience daily...we'll see if I can do it!We had one last eat out at Five Guys today after church before we start P90X, which is the next best burger place to In N' Out that we've found out here.
I hope you all have a inspirational and fabulous Monday!
