Friday! Wooh, this week has been a long, challenging and uplifting one all at the same time! Last week I went to an internal med doctor to see what they thought about an indent that appeared in my arm all of a sudden and a constant aching/pain in my upper back. I had no clue what happened and neither did he, so he referred me to a neurologist. I had that appointment, and they suggested doing some testing. Words like it might be nerve damage, or muscle decaying/damage are not fun to hear. So very concerning to me nonetheless. I've never experienced anything relatively close to something so unknown like this before. And I've never had to trust God more than I now either. With many tears and prayer about this situation I started to feel at peace about it all. Like the girls at Bible study said, we're in a fallen world now and these types of struggles and things are going to happen. Diseases, divorces, violence, human trafficking, orphans, death/loss and so much more. I hate that these types of circumstances happen in life, but I know it hurts God to see us hurting, scared, nervous, anxious or worried too. But trusting in Him is the MOST important thing we can do. So all in all, I had an EMG test done today and I felt a little bit of positivity leaving their offices. They said that they're leaning more towards a tendon tear or stretching in my arm, so that allowed my muscle to move, but that they just need to fully review the results and get back to me next week in order to know what the next step is. I know I've told a few of you, and I am SO thankful for your prayers. It totally helps to have supportive and uplifting family and friends. I'll keep you updated once I hear more next week!
OKAY, so now onto a much lighter note. Thanks for hanging in there with me so I could write it down. Yesterday's valentine note was special because Eric has said to me this very quote I wrote to him (he totally makes me blush)! I left this for E right were he walks in to drop off his things!
I think he's catching on by now ;) I just LOVE to see the grin on his face! I don't think I can express how much of a blessing marriage REALLY is...I pray that God blesses everyone with the gift of marriage at some point in their life!
Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.
