No crying for this birthday girl! Everyone has made me feel so special. Friends & Family that are close or miles away, they know how to make me feel loved ;-).

Hubby surprised me tonight with a special gift-- made me feel kinda like a birthday princess ;-)

I could not be more thankful to have the family & friends that God has blessed me with!
Well....the ONLY thing I'm missing is this birthday cupcake.

No Sprinkles here in San Antonio. I think I'll live though ;-)

Love for fitness motivation

I just recently purchased Candace Bure's newly released book, Reshaping It All. I'm loving it so far! Really changes your mindset and perspective to fitness & food.  Candace is an amazing Godly & inspiring woman. I strongly suggest picking up a copy of this book if you're looking for a good read for the pool or beach! You can find it here!

Love for desserts!

Check out these cute cinnamon candied apples! Great idea, right? I found them on Better Homes & Gardens website.  It reminded me that I put us on the list for desserts @ our church for the Freedom Celebration BBQ. Maybe these will be the winner?? I think instead, I might go with "cake pops" or "brownie pops" with red, white & blue icing :)

Love for Europe!

Wow, what an amazing trip/experience! It's taken a few weeks to get back into the swing of things so I've been procrastinated on uploading and sharing pictures from our get-a-way! But here's a teaser (one of my favs from our trip) until I share more!

Love for Paris!

A few weeks back I was in Anthropologie, and saw these -just had to have them! So I got a few of the mini's. I figured I could use them for all sorts of things. Turns out I was right! I've used them to melt butter & to hold my little chocolates in for dessert (which hubby got a kick out of). I'm sure I'll get tons more use out of them in the future as well. And believe it or not, I also saw them on the food network! I just started watching Dessert First and Anne Thornton was using one to hold her spices--love it! I thought I would share what she was making since it got me excited about our upcoming trip to Europe! Macarons was on her menu. Here's a fabulous Macarons recipe book I found on Anthro's website as well as Anne's recipe! How does this all tie into Europe? Well, there's this adorable pastry shop, Laduree, in Paris that I can't wait to stop in while we're there! They serve these cute little Macarons, can't wait to taste them!

I'm totally stoked for all these fun little places to visit while we're there & to explore everything the UK has to offer! We're headed to Paris, Manchester, Bucklebury, London & Berlin! Any suggestions or advice to offer? I'd love it.
